Main Street Wilmington invites you to join in the dazzling fun and lights of the 2013 HOMETOWN HOLIDAZZLE PARADE AND FESTIVAL ~ Saturday following Thanksgiving, November 30, 2013.  Visit our charming shops and street merchants for holiday treasures. Smell delicious food and hot chocolate as they fill the air and listen to strolling carolers as they sing your favorite holiday song. Downtown Trick-or-Treat

Over 500 Trick-or-treaters and their families braved the wind and cold this past Saturday to be treated by our downtown merchants!   Wow, that's a lot of candy!!  Remember, city-wide Trick-or-Treat in Wilmington will be October 31, 6PM - 8PM.

Saturday   October 26   1:00PM - 3:00PM

Dress up and head into Downtown Wilmington for a day of TREATS to be handed out by our local merchants!

Maps and bags will be available under the marquee of the Murphy Theatre starting at 1:00.

Participating businesses will have purple and orange balloons displayed.

We look forward to seeing you downtown on October 26!!!

As a community, let's take time to step back, take stock and appreciate the deep freedoms we enjoy every day. Freedoms that have been fought for and protected by our veterans and our military currently serving. "Honoring Our Military Everyday" August 31st, in beautiful, downtown Wilmington. 

"Honoring Our Military Everyday" event is August 31, at the Mural Parking lot. We will have organizations that extend benefits to our Veterans, The Lima Memorial "Eyes Of Freedom", Live music from "Kelly Red and the Hammerheads", Family fun, Food and the first 300 veterans get a free t-shirt! These 23 life-size portraits have become a remembran...ce of spirit honoring all those who answered the call to service, in every branch of our armed forces. These Eyes reflect the thousands who have served, fought, and paid the ultimate sacrifice defending Freedom. The Lima Memorial will be escorted into Wilmington by The Legion Riders, the Wilmington Police Dept and our Sheriff Dept.
